Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about appliance repair in Los Angeles.

Do you offer same day appliance repair in Los Angeles?

Often, yes. Call (818) 282-6145 and we'll give you an honest arrival window, in many cases we can be there the same day, and evening appointments are available. Every repair is backed by our 1 year parts & labor warranty.

How do I schedule a repair?

You can call us directly at (818) 282-6145, or use the booking form on our contact page. We'll confirm your appointment within the hour during business hours (Mon to Sat, 9am to 7pm).

What areas do you serve?

We service Los Angeles and Southern California, including Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, Glendale, Burbank, Pasadena, the South Bay, and the Conejo Valley. Visit our service areas page for the full list.

What are your hours?

We're open Monday to Saturday, 9am to 7pm, and closed on Sunday. Same day repair is often possible when you call before noon.

How long does a typical repair take?

Most repairs are completed in one to two hours. If a part needs to be ordered, we'll let you know the estimated timeline upfront.

How much does appliance repair cost?

The cost depends on the appliance type and the issue. We provide a written estimate before any work begins, you approve the price before we proceed.

Do you charge a diagnostic fee?

Our service call fee is $79, which covers a certified technician diagnosing the issue in person. It's waived when you proceed with the repair, so if we do the job, the fee comes off your total. You'll always approve a written estimate before any work begins.

Are there any hidden fees?

No. We quote you a price in writing, you approve it, and that's what you pay. No surprise charges, no upselling, and never a supplemental estimate.

What if the repair turns out to be bigger than the quote?

Then the price still does not move. Your written quote is the cost to fix the problem we diagnosed, completely, if the job runs deeper than anyone could see from the outside, more parts, more labor, or a return visit to finish, the difference is ours to absorb, not yours. If we ever find a separate, unrelated issue, we show you and quote it on its own; nothing is added unless you ask us to fix it.

Do you offer any warranties on repairs?

Yes, every repair is backed by The Repairly Warranty: 1 year on parts and labor, in writing on your invoice, while most shops stop at 90 days. If something is not right after a repair, we come back and make it right.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, and cash.

Which appliance brands do you service?

We service all major and luxury brands, including Samsung, LG, Whirlpool, GE, Bosch, KitchenAid, Maytag, Frigidaire, Electrolux, and all other standard brands. We also service luxury brands including Sub-Zero, Wolf, Thermador, Viking, and more.

Do you repair luxury appliances like Sub-Zero and Wolf?

Yes. We specialize in luxury appliance repair and our technicians are experienced with the unique requirements of high end brands. Visit our luxury appliance repair page to learn more.

Which types of appliances do you repair?

We repair refrigerators (all styles), wall ovens, cooktops (gas, electric, and induction), ranges (freestanding and slide in), and dryers (gas and electric).

Do you repair washing machines?

Not at this time. We focus on kitchen appliances and dryers to ensure our technicians are experts in the appliances they service.

Can you repair built in and counter depth appliances?

Yes. We service built in refrigerators, column refrigerators, built in ovens, and all other integrated appliance configurations.

Do you use original (OEM) parts?

Yes. We use OEM (original equipment manufacturer) parts whenever possible, and we stock common parts on every truck so many repairs finish in a single visit. We do not use aftermarket substitutes that may affect performance or void your appliance's warranty.

What if a part needs to be ordered?

If we don't have the required part on the truck, we'll order it and schedule a return visit as quickly as possible. We'll give you an honest timeline estimate at the time of diagnosis.

Is it better to repair or replace my appliance?

As a general rule, if the repair cost is less than 50% of the cost of a new appliance and the unit is under 10 to 12 years old, repair is usually the better choice. Our technicians will give you an honest assessment, we never recommend a repair that doesn't make financial sense for you.

My appliance is still under manufacturer warranty. Can you repair it?

If your appliance is under manufacturer warranty, the repair should be performed by an authorized service provider to avoid voiding the warranty. We recommend contacting the manufacturer first. For appliances out of warranty, we're happy to help.

What should I do while waiting for a repair technician?

For refrigerators, minimize opening the door to preserve cold temperatures. For ovens and ranges, do not attempt to use them if you smell gas. For dryers, avoid running overloaded drums. Our technician will advise on anything specific to your situation when they arrive.
